[Pakistan] Il faut mettre fin à la violence contre les femmes organisatrices du Socialist Movement !

Elle a été prise pour cible en raison de son implication active dans la lutte pour les droits des femmes et pour une société socialiste. L’attaque a eu lieu après une manifestation contre la violence d’extrémistes religieux réactionnaires. Ce n’est pas un hasard si les gangs ont réagi en attaquant une femme ouvrière. Nous sommes solidaires avec Shabana Marri et tous les militantes et militants de Workers – Sindh. Il semble qu’ils ne peuvent pas compter sur la police pour agir contre les extrémistes et leur violence. Ils ne peuvent compter que sur leurs propres forces et la force de la solidarité internationale.

Pakistan: stop violence against female organiser of Socialist Movement !

The socialist feminist campaign ROSA in Belgium is horrified by the news of a violent attack against female organizer Shabana Marri of the Socialist Movement Sindh and Workers Alliance Sindh in the city of MirpurKhas, province of Sindh (Pakistan). She was targeted because of her active involvement in the struggle for womens rights and a socialist society. The attack happened after protest against reactionary religious extremist violence. It is no coincidence that gangs reacted by attacking a female worker. We stand in solidarity with Shabana Marri and all the activists of the Workers Alliance Sindh. It seems that they can not count on the police to act against the extremists and their violence.  They can only rely on their own forces and the strength of international solidarity. We stand with Shabana Marri!
